The 2026 Forest River R-Pod RP-205 is an ultra-lite travel trailer that perfectly balances lightweight, no-slide towing with a surprisingly roomy, couple-friendly layout. It features a private front bedroom and an open, functional rear living and kitchen setup.
Floorplan & Living Layout
The RP-205 stands out because it maximizes interior space without requiring a slide-out, reducing maintenance and setup time while maintaining a wide-open feel.
Front Private Bedroom: Features a walk-around queen bed (a massive plus in a compact trailer) flanked by dual wardrobes for tidy storage. It also features R-Pod’s signature curved dual-pane acrylic front window with built-in bug screens and nightshades.
Rear Corner Kitchen: Smartly tucked away to maximize floor space, complete with seamless Surf-X countertops, a 2-burner cooktop, an air fryer microwave, and a modern 12V black glass refrigerator.
