The 2026 Highland Ridge Colt 27BPS is a budget-friendly, dual-axle travel trailer designed for families who want a mix of privacy and high-capacity sleeping. It’s part of Highland Ridge’s “entry-level” lineup, but it punches above its weight with modern features like a tankless water heater and a private master bedroom.
Standout Features
Front Private Bedroom: Unlike many budget models that use a curtain, this features a solid door for the queen master suite, complete with dual wardrobes.
The “Pantry Power”: It includes a hidden pantry behind the entertainment center, providing significantly more storage than typical trailers in this class.
Outdoor Kitchen: Perfect for keeping the heat outside, featuring an LP quick connect for a griddle or stove.
Bunkhouse Versatility: Includes double-over-double bunks. The bottom bunk often flips up to reveal a massive storage area accessible via a large exterior cargo door—perfect for bikes or kayaks.
Standard Equipment & Construction
Highland Ridge focuses on durability and ease of use for new RVers:
PVC Roofing: A seamless membrane with a limited lifetime warranty that reflects solar heat better than rubber roofs.
Climate & Utilities: Comes with a 13,500 BTU roof-mounted A/C and an on-demand tankless water heater, so you don’t run out of hot water during back-to-back showers.
Towing Safety: Equipped with self-adjusting electric brakes and nitrogen-filled radial tires.
