The 2025 Highland Ridge Open Range Conventional 28BHS is a family-oriented travel trailer designed to maximize sleeping capacity and living space without the weight of a luxury fifth wheel. It is particularly popular for its “double-over-double” bunkhouse and private master bedroom.
Sleeping Accommodations
The “BHS” stands for Bunk House Slide, and it truly delivers on that name.
Double Bunks: Rear corner features two double-size bunk beds with “Teddy Bear” soft mattresses.
Master Bedroom: A private front bedroom with a queen-sized walk-around bed and sliding pocket doors for privacy.
Convertible Furniture: The U-shaped dinette and jack-knife sofa in the slide-out both convert into additional sleeping berths.
Interior & Kitchen
Spacious Kitchen: Includes a 12V 8 cu. ft. refrigerator (efficient for off-grid), a 3-burner range with glass cover, and a 17″ oven.
Tall Ceilings: An 81″ interior height (6′ 9″) provides a residential feel even for taller campers.
Pet-Friendly: Residential vinyl flooring throughout—no carpet to trap dirt or pet dander.
Exterior & Construction
Outside Kitchen: Equipped with a mini-fridge and griddle/cooktop, perfect for tailgating or keeping the heat out of the cabin.
Magnum Roof™ System: A fully walkable roof with a PVC membrane that reflects heat and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Thermal Seal: Includes an enclosed, insulated, and heated underbelly, extending your camping season into the shoulder months.
