The 2025 Coachmen Freedom Express Ultra Lite 258BHS is a premier “middle-ground” family travel trailer. At roughly 30 feet long and just over 6,100 lbs, it is designed to be half-ton towable while offering enough interior volume to keep a family of eight from feeling like sardines on a rainy day.
The standout feature of this model continues to be the “hidden pantry” tucked behind the entertainment centre, providing significantly more storage than typical trailers in this weight class.

Tankless Water Heater: Now standard, providing on-demand hot water for those longer family showers.
Solar Power: Typically comes “Freedom Solar Ready” with a 200W panel and 30-amp controller already installed.
Interior Styling: Updated “Natural Wood” tones and lighter decor options to address feedback that older models felt too dark.
PVC Roofing: Features the Dicor Tufflex PVC roof, which is more durable and reflects heat better than traditional rubber.
Construction: Uses Azdel Composite panels (which won’t rot or delaminate like wood) and vacuum-bonded walls.
