The Northern Lite 8-11 EX Limited Edition Wet Bath is widely considered the “gold standard” of four-season truck campers. Designed specifically for 3/4-ton and 1-ton short-box trucks, it utilizes a two-piece “clamshell” molded fiberglass design that eliminates most seams, making it exceptionally durable and leak-resistant.
The “EX” designation stands for Extended, providing a longer floor and more interior room than the standard 8-11 models, while the “Limited Edition” trim adds high-end luxury finishes and maximum off-grid power as standard equipment.
The Wet Bath & Interior
Unlike the “Dry Bath” version (which has a separate shower stall), the Wet Bath model maximizes living space by combining the toilet and shower into one waterproof fiberglass room.
Space Efficiency: This layout allows for a larger dinette area (37″ x 72″ bed conversion) compared to the dry bath version.
Cabinetry: Features Greystokes face-frame cabinets—no pressboard or “photo-finish” panels.
Windows: High-end Dometic S4 windows with built-in screens and blackout shades.
Sleeping: A true North-South Queen (60″ x 80″) mattress in the cabover, which eliminates the need to “crawl over” a partner to get out of bed.
Limited Edition Exclusive Features
The Limited Edition package is “fully loaded” from the factory, including:
Off-Grid Power: A massive 600-watt solar system
Comfort: 11,000 BTU Air Conditioner with Soft Start and a 20,000 BTU auto-light furnace for extreme cold.
Appliances: 12V 8 cu. ft. refrigerator, microwave, and 3-burner stove/oven.
Exterior: Two power awnings (10′ side and 7′ rear) with LED lighting, a wireless backup camera, and electric jacks.
True 4-Season Capability
Northern Lite designs these campers for Canadian winters. The plumbing is located in a heated basement to prevent freezing, and the block foam insulation—combined with the seamless fiberglass shell—makes it one of the easiest campers to heat and cool in the industry.
