The Outdoors RV Back Country 25DVS is widely considered a “tank” in the travel trailer world. Part of the MTN TRX (Mountain TRX) series, it’s specifically engineered for high-elevation, off-grid, and four-season camping.
Key Off-Grid & Off-Road Features
Unlike many “off-road” trailers that just have rugged tires, the Back Country series is built from the frame up for abuse:
On-Board Generator: Comes standard with a Cummins Onan 3.6K LP generator, allowing you to run the A/C or microwave deep in the woods.
Massive Capacities: It carries 100 gallons of fresh water, which is nearly double the industry average for this size.
Solar Power: Typically equipped with a 170W to 400W solar package (expandable up to 600W–1000W depending on the dealer/trim).
Off-Road Chassis: Built on a custom-cambered HD chassis with MorRyde CRE 3000 suspension and KYB world-class shock absorbers.
